STORE feedback here

Thank you Michael (@rojaljelly)

Yes, it would be but very time consuming…

Regards
Waldo

The store will not load for me in Chrome.

I have found the issue. ht. . … shop.snapmaker . . . works fine and is what the link is on the snapmaker landing page, but once you are in the forums (my bookmark) section it tries to link you to store.snapmaker . . . which is not a thing, most likely?

I just noticed this also

If you try to access it from the top link in forum, the link points to https://store.snapmaker.com/

however if you try to navigate from snapmaker.com the correct link points to https://shop.snapmaker.com/

This is STILL broken 3 months later.

When do the spare parts for SM2 arrive in the shop?

Also the new Addons?

The spare parts and new addons will become available after we fulfill all the KS orders. The addons on our roadmap are the rotary module, dual-extruder module, high power laser module, and silent linear module.

Is the silent linear module going to be available in an upgrade? I’m guessing the main thing is a new controller board inside the module.

That’s a good suggestion. But we need to take into account whether if the upgrade is easy enough for users to swap and install. I will forward this to our team.

I don’t think a lot of users are going to want to buy new modules,
Unless you offer a trade in.

You could do a survey on Facebook to see if they prefer:

  1. Just buy upgrade controller board
  2. Trade in old module for new silent one
  3. Buy whole new silent module
  4. Don’t mind the noise

Let’s do one here:

What method are you interested in for a Silent XYZ Module?

  • Just buy upgrade controller board
  • Trade in old module for new silent one
  • Buy whole new silent module
  • Don’t mind the noise

Yea we will do more research when the time comes for sure. Right now it’s just a plan that is on our roadmap. This module is particular challenging because of the reasons you listed. But we will see about that. I hope this survey doesn’t get people hopes up and make them think we are developing the module already

It’s important to get feedback from the customer during development, not so much after.
After just tells you whether they’ll buy it or not, during tells you how to improve it so more people will buy it. Obviously if there is not much interest then it’s not worth doing the development in the first place.
