At the beginning, this project was a self modification project during my testing of the quick-swap group.
Then I want to share it with everyone through open source so that everyone can use it, so the plan is constantly being modified to achieve a more perfect effect.
We really like the concept of snapmaker, so it has always been placed on the model.
Later, with the continuous improvement of the plan, it was found that most people find it increasingly difficult to DIY on their own because some accessories need to be customized but the cost of purchasing them separately is high. Therefore, the plan was changed and prepared to be made into a complete set of accessories.
We have been in the stage of model and PCB validation, so the identification in the early stage has always existed and is not the final appearance.
At the same time, we also appreciate the support of Snapmaker company during the renovation process. We are also discussing how to promote it in a form, mainly for the purpose of making everyone better and more convenient to use the machine, and fully utilizing the quick-swap function.

That’s a serious approach to the mod 
Pretty cool to hear that something started as a diy garage assembly, is getting shaped into a product.
I wish Snapmaker adopted it (or atleast sold it trough their store, if there will be version sold by somebody, so its easier to get hands on all over the world + notice there is something new worth buying for existing owners sometimes browsing the shop for news) … it seem like neat idea and great execution. Now the quickswap kit I did ordered feels kinda incomplete … Hopefully the tests will go well and it will be more widely available eventually … it would be nice to see some unoficial module/upgrade makers/sellers for Snapmaker line too - competition is good, variability and ability to get parts from multiple sources is also good and seeing the platform grow overall is great
