Y-Axis not moving during Operation

The Y-Axis seems to not be working WHEN running the laser.

ISSUE:
All axis work just fine manually when I am moving them via the touchpad or the Luban touchpad view serial port. When I actually have the machine try to do a laser engraving it will only do a straight line no matter what design I give it. This is because the base plate (y-axis) does not move when the machine is going (again, it does work manually though).

ATTEMPTED REMEDIES:
I have checked all the settings several times on the touchpad as well as the Luban software, I have unplugged/replugged the wires, I have validated the G-Codes, I hard reset the machine by tapping the graphic several times then resetting user preferences, I have made sure the machine and Luban software are up to date, and I even tried to install the previous firmware version - all with no success.

Any help would be appreciated! I did contact customer support - waiting reply

Was your machine normal homing?

yes it homes fine

What was your slicing software?
I’m thinking of a reversed axis (inverted in machine settings ) but this could only come up with an alternative slicer to Luban..

Slicer? Problem is with a laser operation.

Can you post an screenshot of the design in Luban, including the XY axes.

Hi @bkdev

First, show us your gcode and a screenshot of your Luban project. :face_with_monocle:

Perhaps the laser-engraved shape is outside the workspace?

Check where your coordinate origin is set in the project. Check if you’ve selected the correct machine size in your Luban settings.

I think a laser gcode is also sliced by a program, isn’t it?
Could not imagine any other word for this type of program.. Let me know the correct terminus .
