U1 starting to print on its own?!

I’ve now had this happen twice: the printer starts reprinting the last job on its own. I suspect it’s triggered when I save or close Snapmaker Orca.

The first time, I happened to be nearby and caught it early enough to stop the print. The second time, I was in a meeting and didn’t notice until two hours into the print. In both cases, I remember closing the application shortly before it happened, which is why I suspect that’s the trigger.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?

I had something similar happen.
On my MacBook, I would send a print job, but the 3D printer would not respond. It would usually start working on the second or third attempt, and once I even had to restart the printer.

The most interesting part was that after the job had been sent successfully and the printing was completed, the printer would remain idle. But when I closed the laptop, apparently the application (session) would also close, and at that point a previously “stuck” request would be sent to the printer. After that, it would start printing a job that I had sent earlier.

This happened to me two or three times.

Oh yeah that’s right, both of those times where this happened to me, I had connection issues and had to either restart or keep trying connecting to the printer - so that might actually be it - previously stuck jobs that failed to send might be being sent after the app closes or something like that. @Snapmaker_Official this seems to be a bug worth investigating.

@Simon_Zhi, would you transfer directly to the Devs, please?

A few days ago, I had something similar. I was sure I had started a print job, but the printer did nothing. So I restarted the print, and it executed immediately. Some time after the print finished, I went to the printer and tapped the display to turn it on. At that very moment, the printer started printing again.

I probably had this happening about 3 times. But I cannot replicate it.

This has been happening to me a lot lately. I switched U1 to LAN mode, which seems to have solved the problem.
