Sometimes (not always), after a succesful print, I go to print a new one in a diferent plate.
when I click on the print button, the preprocessing modal appears and gets stuck trying to load the filament config.
the only workaround for now is to fully close the program (including the processes that are left behind (there are about 20 processes in there left behind). If I don’t close these, the app doesn’t reopen to the main window
What version is your software? Could you take a screenshot? The issue in the screenshot may also be related to your network and your computer’s performance. Try to rule out these two factors:
1. Use antivirus software to clean up your computer’s junk files.
2. Try connecting to the machine via local area network (to rule out cloud connection issues).
OR take a test in here:
You can submit a ticket at the same time in case the technical staff or fellow users in the forum don’t respond promptly.
This is in a LAN environment. No other network issues with other apps. Also it works if I fully close the app (including zombie processes) and restart everything (but that’s annoying)
Version is the latest one 2.3.1
I’ll do the test and report back
Currently not having the issue, just posting this for reference and to double check that this is what you asked me for. I’m sure it will happen again today or tomorrow and I’ll get the same info. Let me know if this is it or you need something else.

Since your LAN test looks clean and the issue clears only after fully closing Orca, this feels less like a network problem and more like the app getting stuck in some background process or connection state.
Next time it happens, maybe check Task Manager before restarting and see if there are leftover Snapmaker Orca processes still running. If killing those fixes it again, that would be useful info for the devs. It might also be worth noting whether it happens after the computer sleeps, after a failed send, or after the printer has been idle for a while.
The test results you posted look like the right kind of info to share, especially since LAN shows excellent and cloud is reachable too.
I have added three back ticks at start and end of your log to support readability.
It looks like this: `
Please feel free to share your findings with support:

@xchrisd thanks, and yes I also shared with support as well, I saw the support page after posting in this forum. But a good idea nonetheless.
@makerlog that’s what I was referring to, I quit the app, go to Activity monitor and filter processes and kill anything that looks like a leftover, then restart.
I guess that it is after the printer has been idle for a while, seems like Snapmaker Orcaslicer loses sight of the printer and even after reconecting (going to devices and selecting control) showing a green light (like it is ready to work) doesnt help.
