U1 Multi ACE Pro Integration, Stock Firmware, no Soldering

Hi.. it just stops then, you have to reload and continue.. I had some small underextruded layers (like 1 or 2 in 100) on some prints with many changes, when the print time between swaps is very short but didn’t find an explanation for this so far, and i am not sure its multiACE.

That line you sent me is it SSH?

I need to get my machine back to factory and start again

yes.. it removes the persistency.. reboot after that command

Thanks again for your excellent work.
Did you include the ramp in the new version?

Just says bash not known when I type that

Of course..

Also: stock firmware 1.6.0 support, a load fix against crushed tips on reloads, auto-dry soft start, preflight and web UI fixes, installer fixes.

Oops.. I totally didn’t pay attention when assembling the connector. Mine look like female pins. i didn’t even realize pins came in two types, but it make sense. Does that mean female connector uses male pins and vice versa?

Yes.. thats why i burnt nearly 300€ when ordering cables.. The part here is a plug according to molex.. because of the metal pins, the plastic does not count..

Plugs and sockets are male and female according to what the electrical contact is, not the shape of the plastic that houses it. If the connector has pins, it’s male.

Any reference that says otherwise is incorrect (it does happen).

Occasionally (in highly specialised applications) you can get mixtures of pins and sockets in one housing, or hermaphroditic connectors, but these should be disregarded as special cases.

Yes.. learned that.. the hard way

@decay71 currently using an Ace Pro and its been great so far with 7 colors using the “Ace per Head” configuration

Isn’t there a way of integrating bowden style with a single ace and the feeders?? (giving a total of 8 colors)

So each slot would go to a different tool head and that also would be used by the original feeders - giving two colors by tool head an maybe enabling a BG swap (maybe Multiace already has this and I have no idea)

Original feeders can’t retract, so its not possible.

yeah, totally forgot about that :man_facepalming: maybe snapmaker will make retractable feeders in the future, who knows :eyes:

Multimode with 2 Aces works like that, i don‘t know what future retractable feeders would cost, but you can get Aces very cheap by debundling them..

does it support Paxx 1.6.0 too?

Of course..

You can download an intergrated Firmware here:

I forgot to say, remember the other week we were chatting about Matte PLA having issues, well I seem to have sorted that issue fingers crossed, I now set it as Snapmaker Matte PLA, even if not Snapmaker and since doing that it just seems to work, and even after removing reels and replacing and forgetting to trim the ends with the side cutters

Have you seen the BMCU version?

There might be some interesting aspects in the code.

Another point: I just launched a 6-color figurine, and the 28swap announcement was OK.

However, if I add 1 spool of the same color (so 2 spools of the same color) to an empty slot, I had to repaint a piece of the same color. I lowered the swap to 7. Is there a way for the G-code generator to consider the possibility of having the same color if there are empty slots?

Hi, allright, can’t imagine what the difference would be, but will try that.

I have seen it, yes.. What aspects do you think? New features?

THIS is a very good idea! There is no way now, but surely soon
