U1 Multi ACE Pro Integration, Stock Firmware, no Soldering

Is the Matte heated a little more to separate it?

mixing ACE and BMCu, for example, or different encoding logic could be better thought out ^^

Top, this happens to me sometimes :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m always struggling with swap, even with 7 swaps I got 2 errors :frowning:

Not during load and unload..

I don’t have BMCus here, and don’t plan to buy some… And i don’t think this one can handle same color in more slots.. It does not have a preflight, so you have to adjust your loadout to the model.

Hello, I bought a 6-pin Molex cable to connect my Ace Pro V1 (the one from the Kobra S1C).
I identified the pinout of the connector with the locking clip on top… as shown in the photo… and I connected the D+, D-, and GND pins…
Is this wiring correct, please?

Here is the pinout for the 6 pin connector

Rouge D+ Jaune D- blanc Gnd

Note that this refers to the pins when you look at the ACE, not your cable. I have doubts about your schematic.

Indeed, the colors I indicated are those seen when looking at the Molex cable specification sheet from the front, not the Ace Pro… I’ll redo everything based on the diagram with the link provided above… Thanks a lot.

Think about going to vote, people, we need to support this initiative,

I saw that you added the same color function ^^

Yes, good idea! Oh, forgot to mention your idea, will edit that tomorrow!

No worries, don’t worry ^^ I can’t wait to test your new features.

Does this mean we can no longer select a wire manufacturer??

Hi, thanks for the report. That is a regression on my side: on firmware newer than 1.5.2 the vendor list only shows Generic, because our reader of the new filament database skips the Snapmaker and Polymaker rows. Fixed in the next hotfix.

Mine still has the option for the snapmaker and polymaker filaments with the latest update

what firmware are you on?

The newest that was released yesterday, iof you mean on my U1 it is 1.5.2

Thats it, regression starts with fw > 1.5.2

1.11b hotfix is out, fixes that.

My machine is still running the print job, which will take 16 hours to complete. I’ll update you then.

Nothing quite like a firmware regression showing up right before a 16-hour print. Fingers crossed the hotfix behaves.
