Strange behavior when lasering (X/Y offset ?)

HI all,

I have no idea where the problem is.
My laser is not cutting in the correct position.

Anyone have an idea how I can improve this?

Laser always cuts in the correct position. It’s your assumption of where that position should be that’s the issue. I’ve never had any luck trying to guess where the position of things will be unless I set the work origin to lower left. With that assumption I’m able to laser with certainty and repeatability every time. Do NOT rely on the camera to position objects.

Dear papete,
for me it seems like a camera-calibration problem. I have sometimes the same problem with the 10W.
I got used to it and have to do the background image at least twice. I have noticed different scales of the image - bigger scale is the right one (less margin).
Good luck!
