Can I sit the snapmaker on a towel? I would like to protect the epoxy pour I have on my table and I’m wondering if I can lay a towel down between the snapmaker and the top of my table.
Having a soft surface might make the Snapmaker micro-moving while operation. This can result in less accuracy and maybe long term higher wear and tear of all mechanics.
I have given my Artisan a solid composite panel. To reduce transmission of vibrations, i’ve put some thin anti-slip mattes underneath that panel (the ones you use in the drawer to protect your silverware). That also protects the surface of the table from scratches
