I downloaded a file for a Mandalorian Helmet but after the sclicing process Luban won’t show the Result. The “room” is just empty.
You have to share some information, the stl for example, so someone from the community or snapmaker could search for the problem.
What fileformat do you use?
Do you have show preview in workspace checked?
Load gcode to workspace. usually that part is automatic when opening gcode but the preview is not necessarily enabled.
The workspace preview is not really easy to look at to begin with as it shows the toolpaths.
If you really wana see whats going on with the slice, as well as have more control over the slice and better results, consider trying Cura. Here is a post with a video i made explaining the logic.
Im not at the pc right now but i will look what it is
I downloaded it from thinkerverse
It isn’t too big for your machine is it?
Check the dimensions and that Luban is set to your correct model.
-S
the model is 225x277x271 and the A350 is big enough for that
should I try cura for it?
Thats a big model for the snapmaker… the bed is not very level
you can try it. depends on the geometry a bit.
The bed is not level?
I didnt had any problems with the level of the bed
You are a very lucky guy, I think.
Give it a whirl. Maybe you will have success!
I dont know it says it needs 151h in fast print if i want to try it i think i will cut it in smaller pieces
you can still run the print job if it doesnt show up in the workspace.
If you previewed the code in cura you can see how it wants to come out.
Yeah i could do that but it would be nice to see where and how luban placed the supports.
In Cura i added the printer profile like the support of snapmaker told you to do so. but in thesliced model
You can see that the last layers on top wont be printed bc its too tall i dint know why it is like that
It seems likely the cura settings you entered were not correct. snapmaker’s info is lousy on it. you may have also used an A150 or A250 profile instead of the A350
Recommendations For Successful Prints - Getting Started - Snapmaker: where creation happens
here i have shared my information. compare and try again. This is for an A350.
Thank you i will definitely try it
