Faulty slicing for supports

I am close to my wits end with Luban. Why does it produce a 3D print that has supports just starting in mid air? It is doing it for all kinds of prints.

Both images are looking from the bottom up. The purple is the support and starts several layers from the build plate.
Anyone got any ideas what is going on here?

I don’t have an explanation for what’s happening there, but I suggest you use Cura. It’s a good slicer and many times can print my items better than Luban.
Give it a try, and don’t forget to install the Snapmaker plug in to be able to print on the Artisan.

Thanks ftoons. I do use Cura but it also has it’s quirks with the Artisan. Much better than Luban but sometimes Luban does a better job. When I bought this machine I was really hoping for a One-Stop-Shop which it unfortunately isn’t. Over a week on this forum and nobody from Snapmaker has even read this post probably.

The forums are for us. While a few staff members do come in here from time to time it’s rare.

Did you try printing it? I wonder if it’s a graphical issue vice gcode.
