Snapmaker J1 woun't start. Flashing lights

This morning my Snapmaker J1 doesn’t start. The lights are dimmed half and it regularly gives a shot flash. It shows a message stating that it cannot find a firmware update.
Does anyone have an idea what’s the matter? I did not de a firmware update. It states the firmware version is 2.6.2 and it only gives me an option to do a local firmware update.

Okay, tried installing the 2.6.2 firmware via USB key. Gets to 80%, stops, shows the home screen and keeps flashing at half a second intervals.
opening ‘Control’ gives a message: ‘J1 has stopped. restart app.’ Then they whole update cycle starts again.

Support has helped me locate the problem. The main board (probably one of the stepper drivers) is the issue. They will send a replacement.
