Since I haven’t found any instructions or tips on the subject so far, I’ll try to contribute something from today.
The RC car is not printed at high speed because there is little point in having to dispose of material because something is going badly.
Today I am printing the first part and it is going very well.
Material: ePA-CF on PVA from eSUN
Print speed 80mm/s
Support, tree structure, because here I save about 3 hours and a lot of material
Standard J1 print bed coated with nano polymer.
PVA is okay, but it takes time for the stuff to dissolve.
Here’s the result.
The next print will be a little different than planned, because special support material is quite expensive.
So I just turn it around.
The positive effect is that the print only takes half as long.
Finally the weekend, let’s continue…
Since I didn’t have any suitable material for the last part either, I had to stop first.
Today I first print the chassis and add-on parts with PA-CF.
A hint for PVA that I found in another forum: get a cheap/used sous vide stick. That thing heats the water as you need (about 35…40°C seems to be good?) - and it circulates it. By doing so, the dissolved PVA is moved away from the underlying parts which seems to greatly increase the process.
Could you possibly get the instructions for assembling the RC car?
There are also two other RC car models, but I can’t find these files anywhere.
I think some users would appreciate that.
English:
I received a reply from Snapmaker today.
As soon as a useful guide has been put together, Snapmaker will publish it.
So it may take a while, but it’s in the works.
The parts you need is a servo, hobbywing 1040, 540 motor, an reciver and sender with 3 channels
Stuff you need can find on tamico.de, rcmart or some other rc car seller.
But what’s with the driveshaft and gears and the rods and links for steering
