Thank you for your suggestions on how to make the Snapmaker 2.0 better. Your feedback is always appreciated. Here comes the latest version of the Snapmaker 2.0 firmware.

  • Added 2W Infrared Laser Module Supported

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that when machine print job completed, transfer G-code file via Snapmaker Luban and start print job immediately will cause start print job failed.
  • Fixed a bug that Touchscreen shows wrong spindle speed params in Preview page when using 200W CNC Module
    • Preview will display 18000 rpm as default for 200 CNC Module now(12000 rpm previously)

  • Fixed a bug that print job shifted when using 20W/40W Laser Module crosshair mode to set work origin in some scenario

Notes

  • This firmware update is only compatible with Snapmaker 2.0.
  • To see your current firmware version, go to Settings > About Machine .

How to Update Firmware

  • Via a USB flash drive
    • Put the firmware update file Snapmaker2_V{version}.bin in your USB flash drive.
    • Plug the drive into the Controller.
    • On the Touchscreen, tap Files > USB > Snapmaker2_V{version}.bin.
  • Via Wi-Fi
    • On the Touchscreen, tap Settings > Firmware Update.
    • Read the changelog and download the firmware.
    • After the firmware is downloaded, tap Update Now.
