Snapmaker 2.0 CNC Spindle

Snapmaker 2.0 CNC spindle related question -

The spindle only rotates in Z-axis down Clockwise. The M4 code that should rotate it counter clockwise does not seem to work.

Does anyone have an explanation for this?
