Right extruder motor spinning backwards

I have a real headscratcher here.

So, pretty recently the right extruder motor of my Artisan’s dual extruder module has started spinning in reverse when trying to load filament. I performed a factory Reset, and it didn’t work. I’m now stuck at the calibration screen and can’t skip past it. I’ve tried replacing the motor, nothing. I replaced the whole extruder (as per Snapmaker’s advice), and still, nothing.

I spent well over US$400 trying to solve this issue, and nothing seems to be working here.

Is there a way I can get the right motor to spin the correct way? Am i missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think I remember a similar case where the controller was defective.

Did you try a new cable?

In the meantime, maybe it’s possible to reroot the toolhead port, have a look at M1029:

What happens if you try the single extruder?
