Reverse Engineering the Controller (2.0)

I’ve been having a lot of trouble getting in touch with support to replace my controller module, which had its toolhead port shorted by a reverse-plugged cable in the toolhead.

So in the meantime, I’m trying to replace it - I found the test firmware on the forums to redirect the toolhead port to the adjacent port. using it, the CAN bus functions are working, but the motor itself is unresponsive. Does anyone know which components on the controller PCBs I would need to replace to get the 3d print head motor working?
