Major problem with firmware update 1.5

Hi, does anyone else have the problem where the heads crash into the bed when wiping since version 1.5? When I go back to 1.4.1, the issue disappears. Two nozzles and the bed are already broken. I’ve recalibrated everything, etc. It really is due to 1.5.

No matter whose head it is. Even if I just want to level up the bed through the menu… With version 1.4.1, it disappears instantly.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. It would be highly appreciated if you could submit a support ticket:

You’re not alone.

Here’s a thread on Reddit with a similar issue (nozzle too close to the bed): https://www.reddit.com/r/snapmaker/comments/1uksadr/firmware_update_15_problems/

As well as two comments in the same spirit on the official release announcement:

Is Not the Same Problem. They have Problem with the Z Offset … I have See this … I have Change to my standart of 0,08 , and Change nothing…. Only when I Go back to 1.4.1 it works

I don’t have a head-bumping issue, but my prints come out as a blob. I suspect the Z-axis height is too far from the print bed. It looks exactly like an over-extrusion problem. Manual and automatic bed leveling didn’t help at all, but reverting to version 1.41 fixed it.

I observed that the problem was resolved when I set the z-offset value to 0.25.

Should be solved:
