I’m the author/developer of the CNC extruder kit you guys have been talking about. I’ve seen some questions and wanted to clear things up!
I developed this kit because I wanted a permanent fix for the clogging and heat creep issues on the U1. Since I switched to this CNC version, I haven’t had a single clog, and it’s been a game-changer for many users.
A quick heads-up on availability:
Now that the official Snapmaker V2 design is being released, this will be the very last batch of my upgrade kits.
I am not sure if Snapmaker is selling their new version of the filament guide separately yet. However, I can confirm that the machines currently shipping out are already equipped with the official new design—I know this because I personally purchased new units in both May and June, and both came with the updated V2 parts.
