Laser Engraver Double Image

Hello, I am trying to engrave some images on a piece of basswood but it comes up as if the machine is creating doubles of it next to each other. I have tried using png, jpeg, creating the file from scratch, changing laser power, speed, etc. Nothing seems to have worked. Let me know what else I can do or if the laser module itself is the one with the issue and needs replacing.

Current settings I have are the following:
Method: Fill
Movement Mode: Line
Line Direction: Horizontal
Fill Interval: .1

Jog Speed: 500
Work Speed: 200

Laser Power: 60%

Fyi, my computer is a bit old so the most up to date Luban software I can use right now is 4.3.1 Thanks in advance!

If you have a Luban version below 4.9 you have to use firmware below 1.17.17.
There where big changes in internal gcode transaction.
Hope this helps:

Hello! I am using Firmware Version 1.15.17

Do you think it might be a hardware issue and the laser is not working properly?

Only wanted to verify it’s no new luban/firmware bug.
Did you look at your gcode, are there the doubled lines?
Is your work piece protected against slipping?

The material is secure, I use 8 of the silicone plugs around the material. I will check the g-code and get back with you. Thanks for the help!
