Hi,
Some filament such as wood are not sliding as well in the ptfe leading to some extrusion problemes. Is there a way to increase (and reverse) the pressure on the filament in the extruders?
This is available in all other 3D printer but this one?
Feed filament directly into the extruder
There’s no built in way to adjust the extruder gear pressure, no.
I seem to recall someone designed a replacement extruder gear door that has tension adjustment. I don’t know/remember if the files are posted anywhere though.
Never solve filament path resistance by increasing extruder load, simply make a PTFE bypass with a top hat or mount the spool over the printer and directly feed the extruder with no lid. Trying to solve filament path resistance by just running the extruder harder will just increase wear for both your PTFE tubing and extruder gears, at the extreme even stepper drivers. This applies for all 3D printers.
This printer does not support direct adjustment of the extruder gear pressure. Perhaps the filament could be placed directly above the extruder.
