If the filament is stuck for some reasons on the spool you won‘t get an recoverable error but printed hot air for several hours :(.
Filament has jammed multiple times during printing in the drying box. The print stopped with an error message and could be restarted without issues each time after untangling. I could not detect any defects on the printed object.
I would be interested to know under what circumstances a jam goes unnoticed. Perhaps there is a switch to disable the detection?
I don’t quite understand your scenario. The printer has an odometer wheel; once the filament stops moving abnormally, it will be detected—whether it’s stuck or broken, there is usually a prompt. If your machine shows no prompt at all, you can contact support and submit a ticket.
You can submit a ticket at the same time in case the technical staff or fellow users in the forum don’t respond promptly.
