Filament reload... Wait, it's not out of filament

Hello everyone - My A350 has recently started throwing this filament runout error. It’s as intermittent as everyone has said here in this thread. Same thing: says it is out of filament when I can clearly see it is not. I have been able to recover from this error simply by tapping the load button rather than pulling the filament out and reloading it. I noticed no one has suggested that debris could cause any of this. I know it wouldn’t make sense considering you’d think that debris would make it easier for the switch to be depressed. I know how much filament dust can scrape off under normal use. Has anyone given the print carriage a blast of air, or used a vacuum on it without having to open it up and make the switch adjustment? Just curious. I may order a few of those Omron D2F-01L3’s to keep handy for future. Like NilartPax, I’d much rather have that runout feature working as it should. :v:

Ours has also started this runout problem.
It seems the switch may not handle the heat inside very well?
the black metal clips that hold it to the white part are broken, there were also pieces of the white part that were also loose inside the compartment. this was without touching the bolts holding in the switch.
How long was the warranty for the printer head?

As short as legally allowed lol

Good luck with any warranty, filled out request and never received a reply.

Are you telling us to void our warranty and open the module to tighten those screws? Easy enough to do but I don’t want to void my warranty. I’ve been having the same issues with the sensor telling me I’m out when it’s clearly able to push filament during the load process but immediately tells me I’m out of filament when I try to start a print.

I remove bowden tube and leave the filament free

No more issue
