I was gona install a USB to Ethernet Cable pair to run ethernet cable to my computer in the other room for direct connect via the USB mini (as the USB range is significantly smaller than ethernet so this is a valid method), maybe that isnt necessary if the machine is accepting the ethernet connection from the USB adaptor
