CNC Origin from Fusion?

I am confused on how the set the origin in Fusion 360 correctly, or even have control over it. I created a body to be cut and a shape that sets the area where i need the cut to be (area of interest so to speak), I thought that the point in fusion at 0/0/0 is the origin?? Well you guessed it I am a noob. When i switch to manufacturing will the origin be used from my body or the area of interest? Basically I need know, which origin is used when i load the file into my SM2, so i can measure it out…

Your work origin is chosen under setup when you’re in the manufacturing tab under “work coordinate system”:

The coordinates in the design can be chosen and used, but generally they’re ignored.
