I’ve done the post processing from Fusion360 for milling a piece of wood and it exports a .cnc file type that Luban does not accept. Luban only accepts .svg, or .dxf and a few other file types. How do I change the file type from .cnc to .svg or figure out some way to have Luban accept the .cnc file?
wifi password v3.cnc (267.2 KB)
That’s a gcode file. Look for an “Open gcode file” button in the Workspace area (I can’t be more exact because I use an older version of Luban).
You don’t need to load it into the CNC area, if that’s what you were wondering.
Since this comes up frequently, hopefully this will be of some reference:
In this case what’s confusing is Fusion360 is acting as the CAD and CAM tool exporting the gcode (.cnc) file. You want Luban to start as the gcode sender, which is the button mentioned by elloryjaye
Luban can also act as a CAD and CAM tool, by importing into the CNC workspace.

It’s been a struggle to get this far, but thank you!!
When I did CNC milling with my snapmaker, I also used Fusion 360 as the CAM software. I took the .cnc file and put that straight into the snapmaker via USB. So like ElloryJaye said, you don’t need to open it in Luban you can just use the file as it is.
