I can load a .cnc tool path file created in Fusion into the CNC workspace in Luban, but I can’t transfer it via WIFI. Can you only transfer these files via USB? If that’s true, I would like to request that be fixed.
I do tons of 3DP and find the WIFI process very convenient there. I would just like parallel capability on the CNC side. (…where, btw, I have a lot less experience, but am gaining it.)
Thank you. I’ll give that a try. I searched the forum and found a couple threads similar to this, but no one asking about why GCODE files go and CNC files don’t. Have you seen anything about this? Seems like an obvious asymmetry that should be fixed.
.nc(Numerical Control) file stores G-codes.
In essence they are not different.
I understand what’s in them. The problem is Luban won’t upload a .CNC file to the machine, but it WILL upload a .GCODE file via WIFI.
Ahh, okay. And then it will work over WIFI?
Okay, actually that DOESN’T work. At least not the way I WAS doing it. I was importing the G-Code file via the g-code files window on the right of the workspace.
It DOES work, in fact the CNC file name work too, if I load it immediately from the dialog box that pops up. The two work differently.
