BUG report on pause/resume dual printhead

Just had the following happen on 350AT with dual head:
Was printing from CURA (latest) in memory
ONLY right extruder in use
Manual flow adjust to 104
Pressed PAUSE and confirmed
Head+axis moved UP while about 10cm got extruded ???
pressing CONTINUE unloaded the filament while moving down
printhead resumend on proper position but without filament.

Since running of-line this is firmware issue.

kind regards

Is this reproduceable?
What firmware are you on?
Do you print and pause from the touchscreen?

I see a few firmware problems too if I print with a single nozzle on the dual print head…

The latest current firmware…dont have access to machine now. And yes, used touchscreen…printer was used offline.
Greetings from windmill country

If I press pause, the head moves up and there is a string from the model to the nozzle which is easy removable.
If I press continue, it extrudes a few cm of filament and moves to the last print position. On my machine I can’t see a problem.

May you record a video about and share it, please?

I ll try to recreate tomorrow…local time late night now …hihi

Hi Chris as promissed some more info … Was not able to EXACTLY reproduce, however still an issue… The video shows a lot of plastic extruded just above the model…before descending again; thus ruining the print i guess… also included picture of touchdcreen with details.
Kind regards, Gerard

Chris, send me ANY mailaddress and i send a we transfer…video is 250MB

I have sent you a PM.

Thank you, I got it.

Everything seems to me normal.
The described extrusion is for purging the nozzle (refresh and extrude “old” baked filament) this should be like this and has to be removed by hand.
For me it works best if I take it and remove it just before the nozzle touches the model.

Oke Chris,

Unfortunately what really went wrong was not repeatable…(or fortunately hihihi)…

Case closed.

Kind regards
