I’m trying to cut Avery 5165 Shipping Labels that are mounted on chipboard with the 1600mw laser cutter. The thickness of the material is 1.8mm.
I’m trying to find the appropriate settings. When I use the 1.5mm Basswood setting its almost as if the design were printed on the paper with no cut…when I use the Black Acrylic 3mm setting it cuts through however it seems excessive with the chipboard blackened.
I assume the Laser label Paper is creating havoc with the time settings… any Suggestions?
