First 3 4 hr prints worked fine but only with a certain color (blue) every time I load snapmaker 1.75 white or black PlA it will either print 2 thin or after an hour so it stops printing, machine continues to move but no material comes out. I have tried removing the print head and cleaning gears as well as using needle to clean out clog I have also forced material through the print head by hand but again same problem getting very frustrated with the 3 D side of the artisan
The same symptoms appeared for me.
I found that the nozzle is blocked only when printing with a specific filament, whether Artisan (Dual Nozzle) or Snaomaker 2 (Single Nozzle).
That filament is Snapmaker’s PLA black.
I believe that the quality of Snapmaker’s PLA black is likely poor.
The quality of Snapmaker filament has consistently been inconsistent. The black has been especially problematic. If you search these forums you will find that many people’s problems have been solved by switching to a quality brand of filament.

Thank you i also printed the wedge, and used it on the left extruder and I was able to print a 5 hr print with no problem other than the filament getting stuck on the roll a couple times
I also had the problem with one particular filament that the nozzle clogged after a while.
To find out the cause, I opened the extruder and pushed a piece of filament through to the nozzle by hand. This was very easy. But when I push the filament back and forth by hand several times, it jams all at once. It depends on how far I pull the filament back by hand.
From this I concluded that in my case it clogged the nozzle due to the retraction.
I reduced the retraction distance in my slicer settings from 2mm to 0.8mm. Since then I have not had a clogged nozzle with the filament and no problem with stringing or blobs.
