Z Hop Height Setting

Hi all

I really must be blind but I can’t find the setting for the Z Hop Height.

I know that retraction settings were moved to the material settings. But neither there nor in the normal settings I can find the Z Hop Height setting.

Can you please give me a hand at that?

Thankfully,
Martin

Z-Hop settings are under Material > Retraction Control
(Make sure you have Parameter Display set to All)

Thank you for the hint, Mxbrnr!

I definitely was blind: I haven’t set the parameter Display to All

While on the subject of Z hop, is there a Z hop height parameter like Cura or am I just not enabling it somehow. Z hop is enabled.

Yes, in the same place as mentioned previously.
“Z Hop When Retracted” must be enabled, then under that you will see the option for “Z Hop Height.”

Ah, I’m not seeing that on my screen

That is the bottom of my materials page.

Cheers,

David

Go back and re-read the comments. Parameter Display must be set to ALL as I previously instructed. The option is there. Also, in the future you need to make sure you clarify to others if you are using the single or dual extruder print head; it is a very important distinction to make that changes the troubleshooting available to you. This screenshot is from Luban 4.10.1 with Dual Extruder print head on the SM 2.0 series machines.

Thanks for that info. Doesn’t make too much sense, but perhaps someone else will chip in?
