I use the Dual Extruder module on a Snapmaker 2.0 F350. I normally use Cura as my slicer. When I use cutting meshes to create GCode that uses both extruders, everything is fine, but when I am simply using a single STL file to create GCode that uses only the first extruder, my Snapmaker 2.0 F350 often tries to create it using Extruder 2. If I turn my printer off and then back on, it uses Extruder 1 as expected (and continues to from then on). Therefore, it is not a problem, I just need to remember to switch the printer off and back on when making a project that uses only one extruder. Has anybody else had this problem?
Yeah. Had same problem on Artisan
I need to switch to the correct extruder before printing.
I send a T0 or T1 depending which extruder I want to print with. But this is needed once after starting the machine if the gcode is correct ..
Seems like you might want to add T0 to your Cura start code.
