I was under the impression that the original snapmaker was very popular. There I would think someone would make 125mm or 5" blanks for engraving. But I can’t find any. I can make my own from large pieces but then I risk tearup at edges and it wastes wood.
Any ideas?
120mm basswood squares are available from dozens of cut-rate Chinese sellers on Amazon, if you can tolerate losing the extra 5mm.
Alternatively, at least one of the authorized Snapmaker resellers carries “SnapMaker Blank Wood Squares (10pk)”. They’re currently out of stock until the new year, though.
