Vase printing inner filament lines (you know what I mean)

Re-born 3d enthusiast. I know they aren’t called filament lines, but whatever they are, I don’t want them within an item I’m printing with vase setting. I’ve attached a picture after generating code to show what I’m trying to exp[lain. The model I printed created a z seam and the lines crossed from one side of the object to the other. From top to almost the bottom. Help please.

Just to make sure, you did select Vase mode in the settings?

Yes, it was set. That’s why I’m confused. Ran it on Prusaslicer for my MK4 in Vase setting and it was perfect.
