It’s been three weeks since my Snapmaker U1 arrived, but today I finally managed my first print after overcoming a ton of calibration errors and tool detachment issues.
The extremely unclear Wiki and half-baked instructions made this incredibly difficult.
Just as I thought it would run stably now, a problem occurred with Snapmaker Orca 2.1.2.
Some error happened during slicing, and after pressing the OK button on the error screen, the machine stopped being recognized.
All three tabs—Home, Devices, and Projects—display a completely blank screen.
The Prep and Preview tabs function, but attempting to slice causes the screen to go blank.
Even after performing a Snapmaker Orca 2.1.2 overwrite install or uninstalling and reinstalling Snapmaker Orca 2.1.2, the screen remains blank.
Ultimately, Snapmaker Orca is unusable.
I haven’t submitted a support ticket.
Since this issue might occur for others too, I want to leave a record of it here in this forum…
Note sure what YOUR problem is. Or which OS you are running and not understanding, here (mac os) everyting works fine and has worked fine over the past years with many updates of slicers, the hardware installation of the printer works great, provided you follow the clear instructions of the booklet.
The least you should provide is the name of your OS and version. Sory, friend, your harsh tone triggered my reply.
