On small, dual filament prints, sometimes the nozzle in standby isn’t quite up to temperature yet by the time the layer is ready for it. This should be better controlled by Luban, but that’s a separate discussion.
The problem today is that when it’s pausing to wait for the standby nozzle to get upto temp, Artisan moves the print head to the very back-right corner of the build plate. That’s annoying on its own, but the critical issue is that it runs the active nozzle right into the clips that hold the plate down (worst on the initial layer), which causes a calibration issue and some incidental nozzle damage.
