Sudden death of oruginal CNC head

Hi

Did any one experinced sudden CNC stop in the middle of carving job and further malfunction when tuning on/off manually?
Video

Is it motor or control board?

There is a block safety Mechanismus in the software. - At least with the 200W CNC the job gets paused (but can not resume) if the toolhead was blocked.
This happened to me as my tool gots blunt.

The failure stands in the logs.

Unfortunately I don’t know what causes your fault.

Theoretical you should be able to remap your toolhead port, have a look at this:
https://snapmaker.github.io/Documentation/gcode/M1029

There was nothing that blocks toohead - it just stopped. And I also tried to run it manually from Control tab of HMI

Tool head port can’t be remapped

I also get that screeching noise as the spindle slows down and stops. My mechanical engineering ears are not comfortable with that noise, it wasn’t there from new, and mine hasn’t had that much use.

Beleive me, noise is not a problem

It can be indicative of a problem.
No smoke without fire, as they say.
