Hi everyone
I have been trying to use LB on 10watt laser
TThis is something I know very little about and I’ve been stumbling my way through it and not understanding it very much
Could someone help me with the basic mo start and end scripts for 10watt Artisan and LB I’ve seen so many posts about it I’m now confused about which ones I need to run the basics
Thanks everyone

I think these are the best guides we have in the forum - they are for the SnapMaker 2.0, but Artisan should not be very different:
So… After a lot of testing…
It’s been awhile since I’ve done a guide, and this one was a long time coming. This guide will allow you to do your entire project in Lightburn, and (if connected via USB) run it directly from Lightburn. Letting you skip Luban or using the USB drive entirely.
A quick note, this guide, like most of mine, will assume you have some experience with the machine. As always, feel free to ask questions and I’ll try filling in any gaps you find. I’ll be posting the setup I …
With the new IR laser coming out, I figured testing and guides would follow. Lucky enough, it seems with minimal tweaks, Lightburn works with the new IR just fine. So here’s a guide on setting it up fully with Lightburn for auto-focusing and accurate results. Note; while I don’t have the 20/40W lasers, this guide SHOULD work for those as well. CONFIRMED WITH 40W I tested both USB connection, and using my Drag/Drop files

I will start out by saying, I do NOT recommend this. This was mostly for me to test could it be done. Since I’m writing this guide… guess it can! For those who want to try it anyway, I’ll layout how to do it, but be warned. This is an advanced process. It will require a lot of double-checks, a bit of initial setup for origins, and a bit more gcode editing (nothing hard though, and most can be done with a batch script if someone chose to write it). That being said, onward I guess!
