As a high school engineering teacher, I can tell you that this is easier than building LEGO sets.

Same for the original, got home after work, made dinner, walked the dogs, and then threw the machine together and had it running before bed (yet to start any prints though)

Took me a total of eight hours to build four (with about ten < 5 min. interruptions).
