Snapmaker Artisan not found by Orca Slicer

Continuing the discussion from Snapmaker Artisan Firmware Updates and Downloads

Hi everyone,

according to the announcement for the new FW V2.8.0 the Artisan should be recognized by Orca Slicer if both are in the same network. FW was installed a few days ago once it became available.

But that connection isn’t working for me. All devices are in the same network. I can ping the printer and I can send files directly via Luban or Cura.
But the latest version of Orca Slicer (Beta V2.2.4-2) isn’t recognizing the device.

Orca Slicer is installed on Arch Linux, same install where Luban and Cura are working and connecting fine.

Any thoughts about how to fix it?

Got it sorted.

In the dialog for network connectivity i’ve forgotten to enter the port after the IP adress.
