I had noticed filament entanglement which was a concern since the puller wheel if don’t cut the filament machine just operates without filament been passing through extruder. What is the best practice of filament reel are there any suggestions on this.

After checking your log file(SC_0), I found that your machine had stopped many times, which is quite abnormal.
Normally, there will be log files named “SC” and “FW”, but you sent me only SC file, which is for touchscreen.
Could you please re-export the files from the touchscreen? Please wait for 10 seconds after it tells the log files have been exported successfully.
We have some clues for this issue, and more information is needed. Thank you in advance.

Hello all
After 3 months of enjoyment and successful work with all 3 modules of my SM A350, 3 days ago I encountered the same problem.
First a work with cmc was not finished, the machine just says stop and light off. On the touch screen commands could be entered, but none was followed, neither light on nor moving any axis.
So machine off, and after 20 seconds on again.
The job could not be processed any further. I made the rest by hand.
I switch to the 3D module but no matter what job I want to process, small or large, old or new, always the same.
The machine heats up, starts and after a few minutes stops running again. Machine stop, light off and freeze.
I work with housing and the firmware Snapmaker2_V1.10.01.
I have subsequently changed to Snapmaker2_V1.10.0 Snapmaker2_V1.9.0 and Snapmaker2_V1.8.0.
I plugged and unplugged as recommended, unfortunately all to no avail.
Touchscreen, transfer from Mac to SM, calibration ect works. At work, however, after par minutes nothing works. Froze as described and must be turned off/on.
I believe my controller is faulty and needs to be replaced.
I have reported to support and sent the logs but have not received any useful help.
I can’t upload video or logs unfortunately.
I appreciate any help that can get my machine back up and running.

I would suggest to check your cable connections (all!) and export the log and post it here or send it to support@snapmaker.com
It seems your machine loose a connection so it shuts down immediately.

That night it occurred to me that the behavior of my A350 is the same as when I unplug the cable from the module. In the morning I also received the answer from support that I should swap the cables from the work module and the Y or Z axis.So far it works and it seems that the cable to the work module is defective. I reported to support and requested a new cable. Thanks again for the help.

hello edwin,
i want to know what is the life of the nozzle, since the nozzle which can assembled is not performing as expected so i changed with the spare one , also the first one got clogged which i succeeded in removing the clog but it seems the cleaning was not that effective. so i have to again go to spare one , and now i am worried what this one also fails , can you plz suggest. i want to procure some more as spare but dont know from were to order since the dealer in india doesn’t have it now. also can we replace the nozzle with new one as i tried to remove the nozzle its not getting removed so i need a help on this also.
you have to heat up the extruder to remove the nozzle, then you can replace it.
MK8 is the nozzle designation, very common standard nozzle.
nozzle life varies wildly between type and quality of material. as does the hotend assembly itself, which is relatively cheap, but not as cheap as a new nozzle.
i would probably buy about 4 or 5 hotends to have on hand, then order more when you are down to 2, that should allow you to keep out of danger of being out of business.
quality non abrasive filament you can get a VERY long life out of a regular brass nozzle though. hundreds of hours? Possibly. I think my longest nozzle was my last one, I ran it for about 120 hours total, but towards the end i started feeding some stainless steel and carbon fiber filaments through it to see what i could get away with. For the records, the it held up pretty good to the stainless for a few short prints and a couple of carbon fiber too, but started seeing some messes after that.
this is also dependent on your skill level, which youll figure out what i mean by that overtime. having everything tuned in just right allows for much less to accumulate and go wrong on your nozzle.
