Snapmaker 2.0 40W and lightburn does not work

I setup the Snapmaker 40W laser in lightburn according to https://wiki.snapmaker.com/en/general/manual/use_ray_with_lightburn_guide

The profile snapmaker-2.0-40w-v1.lbdev does not work with my Snapmaker A350 2.0 40W laser. The laser turns on for 1 or 2 seconds and then it switches off. Does anybody have a profile which is working?

I was also experiencing the laser power dropping to 0 after the first path(s). In Lightburn, Device Settings, GCode panel, enable the option “Emit S value with every G1 command” and you’ll be operational again. [cap_3466]
