I just got my A350 yesterday. So far I’m very impressed with the “default” vase print using luban.
I’m trying to slice with Simplify3d, and the resulting gcode doesn’t set up the temperature correctly. When I initially load the gcode the touchscreen reports the correct temperature on the initial summary screen, but when I start the print it doesn’t work correctly for the nozzle temperature. I get a readout of “20/0” for the nozzle (the bed is fine). It seems to not have a nozzle temperature. I can go set a nozzle temperature manually, but it doesn’t have any effect.
I really like the way Luban gcode warms up in the bottom left corner then extrudes a bit and “wipes” it off as it moves to the start position. I’m thinking I may be able to find the gcode for that and then just add it as the starting sequence for S3D. Has anyone tried something like that? Is it likely to work out ok?
