Show Us Your Laser Creations!

Hi everyone!

Following our large prints thread, @xchrisd suggested we have a separate one for laser creations so here we go!

Share your laser creations here, along with a brief description. Excited to see what you’ve made!

My Snapmaker 2.0 is always making water bottles. The ones below were made with the 2.0 and the 10W laser.

I have been experimenting recently with the 40W laser on stainless steel. Below is some color swatches I made, but I would like to do a larger size. I also have the largest 2D laser sign I’ve made with the 40W just below that.

13"x13"x3/4" (330.5 x 330.5 x 19mm) baltic birch. Pushing the limits of the A350 past the advertised “320mm” on X  Notice it overhanging on the left and squared on the right, opposite of what I normally do.

Building the astrolabe involved laser cutting and engraving, cnc carving, as well as traditional woodworking.

All of these are very cool. I’m particularly interested in the water bottles. Are you using a rotary module to do these?

Yes, I used the rotary module and the 10W laser to make all of these.

Got it. Thanks.

It’s an old one but I’m about to revisit it and make a MKii model.

This is the new design mock-up with removable control panel for different games.

Very cool. I would love to see the new MK2 arcade unit when it’s done.

I designed this 1/5 scale 2-player bar table arcade machine. Laser cut acrylic panels and covered in wood grain vinyl for that retro feel.

Nice ! Love the attention to detail.

Wow! Looks amazing. Is this for personal use or are you selling these?

Hi,
Like what you created… Nice!
What are the dimensions of the Pétanque plate? Looks larger than the build plate (A350) of the SM2.0.

The dimensions were about 15" x 15" for the largest piece on the top. I made this using the Snapmaker Artisan to get that extra space!

Ahhhh… I see  Thanks

here is my simple celestiscope. It shows the position of the planets and the phases of the moon at any date. It’s operated by manually turning a thumbwheel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COCu3DEx5ew
