Hi I would like to share information how to cut or engrave a leather belt or knife sheath which is longer as the laser platform. I purchased two of them one for leather and one for other material. To cut longer parts, I installed them both like a sandwich. Please refer to the pictures attached.
It is possible to make a first cut and then adjust the leather for the second cut.

Nice! Just out of curiosity: Did you consider to use the milling wasteboard as the lower sandwich layer? Or do the screws not align?
No due to I have the rotary modul installed on that but I am sure this will work also with a 3d printed adapter to align the bolts
