Rotary extension cable also works for other modules?

I want to reposition the A350T controller from right to left side inside my housing.
This works for everything except the cable of the x axis, which now crosses the build plate more or less tensed. Since I moved the controller a little bit higher this is not an issue as long as the object to print is not too big, but a longer cable would be a better choice for sure.

So here is my question: Snapmaker offers an extension cable, which is mentioned to be used for the rotary module.
Does it also work for the other modules ?
From the pictures I found it seems to be same pinout positions as the normal 8 pin module cables, so I would assume there’s no difference, but better to ask :wink:

Hi @Uef ,
The pins and the plug fit, but the cable average is too low. If you extend the cables by 1.5 m, the modules will no longer work (at least with the Artisan).

Tested on a F350. Worked without problems with extended X Axis. I think the cables on Artisan are much longer and then the Extension is just too long for the cable average.

You should have no problems.
