Relocate Controller Module? A350

I’m wondering if it’s possible to relocate the controller module to the left side of the machine?
My machine is in a corner and it is very hard to access the cables.
Additionally, what needs to be done to reverse the X-axis module so that the control cable is also on the left side?
Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions.

I guess it would be possible to invert the X axis but i am not sure about the firmware.
Maybe it is fine to only invert the axis in your slicer software to print.

This is something to try, i am not sure if you have to adjust the firmware for that, hopefully not.

If it is okay to have inverted control-options on the touchscreen i would simply try, or ask support@snapmaker.com

Thanks @xchrisd, I’ll look to see if I can invert the x-axis in the slicer, I foresee issues when the machine tries to “go home” due to the sensors in the modules. It would be great to have a set of advanced/hidden settings to change or modify our modular machines to fit our needs.

You could suggest this in firmware discussion thread.- or directly to emailsupport

Making a calibration may would not work.- Be aware to be able to shut the machine down before breaking something!

I’d also appreciate this feature, it means you can move the exhaust duct on the enclosure to the other side, and it will also mean the cables from the controller won’t be pushing on the sliding door  I think there’s enough cable for the LCD screen to make it to either side, haven’t tried yet

Any revelations on this topic?
I too would like to move the controller to the other vertical rail for rotating the machine to a specific corner.

There still isn’t official support for putting the controller on the other side. An issue is open for it on GitHub, but I don’t think it’s very high priority for them.

I’ve linked a more recent topic covering this along with a potential firmware modification below, in case you’re interested.
