Hi,
how much torque is recommended for tightening the nozzle of Snapmaker 2 printhead?
Not sure on the exact but i switch from .4 to .6 often.
remove hot, hand tighten, small bit on the wrench, you dont need much, too little filament will squirt out the sides, too much, you risk a strip, so go lightly and get the feel
Thank you, I know how to do it… but anyway I want to know the recommended torque
And I want to use my adjustable Torquewrench for it.
This exact question came up in another thread this last week. Prusa recommends 2.5 N m. It’s also worth mention two important details. (1) This is the torque of the nozzle on the heat break, not the heater block. (2) This torque should be applied at working temperature, not at room temperature.
Thank you all but i really know that all… I know the other thread, I searched the web and I read values from above 1Nm up to 3Nm for other printers. I asked the same quastion weeks ago in another thread, and I got no answer from snapmaker. So now I decided to open a new thread just for that question, hopefully Snapmaker will answer now.
