Bambu Studio has a pretty nice feature where, before the next color change, if the filament sensor has detected a filament runout, it will purge the last bit of that filament before it changes to the next color. This requires you to load in a new roll which prevents it from running out mid-print and causing a pause line when it returns to that color and runs out mid-layer. It would be nice if this could be added with an option called “Purge remaining filament” or something similar. I ran into this issue on my first print when it ran out mid-layer, which caused a massive pause line.
