Hello, my shop has run into an issue with our snapmaker 3D printing. It starts printing on one side just fine, but the other side it starts to smudge and then disappear. Picture for reference. I re-leveled and calibrated the bed multiple times, tried different nozzle temperatures, tried offsetting the z-axis, and unloaded and reloaded the filament multiple times. Now I’m thinking maybe the plates underneath the bed got unleveled somehow and now the nozzle is too close on one side for any filament to come out. Does anyone have any experience with this or know what’s going on? Thanks!

It seems you are too near to the bed.
I would suggest to level the bed hot but preheat the bed for 1 hour to let it expand.
I have issues with my Original’s bed coming loose over time. About every 6 months, I get something similar. Calibration doesn’t help. I’ll retighten the bed screws then recalibrate, and everything is good again.

Adding to the others: It looks indeed that your bed calibration is off and at the back of the bed your nozzle gets too close to the bed, not leaving space for the plastic to extrude. I’d check two things:
- Do a bed calibration again, perhaps with a denser pattern
- While the print bed changes its direction: Do you notice the bed front and back moving visibly up or down? If so, you need to retighten the bearings in the Y-axis linear modules.
